A Better Way to Make Films—and a Better Way to Live
The entertainment industry doesn’t just need better films.
It needs “better” filmmakers.
At Film and Family Foundation, we believe great films are made by healthy artists—artists who are grounded in purpose, strengthened by community, and supported by family rather than separated from it.
We exist to restore mentorship, craftsmanship, and character to the world of filmmaking. Through hands-on education and real-world experience, we help filmmakers create their first feature film while building a sustainable career—without sacrificing their values or the people they love most.
Because when artists are inspired, their art is inspiring.
And when artists are whole, stories can once again point us toward what’s true, good, and beautiful.
Check out our collection of free resources for filmmakers who want to tell meaningful stories and make a living doing what they love. Our filmmakers have the modern luxury of time with their families, healthy mindsets and personal lives, and are creative fulfillment. If these are results that you want, you're in the right place
As a nonprofit, we rely on generous donors to cover our costs, support our instructors, produce educational content, and keep the lights on. You can sponsor a specific filmmaker through the mentorship program, open up scholarship opportunities, and get exposure for your brand with our audience of thousands of filmmakers
Does making a feature film sounds like an impossible dream? Access our free interactive checklist to break the entire process of financing and finishing a film into a series of simple doable steps.
